Featuring musicians of the highest standard, all with several years notable previous experience within the music industry, We are a party band like no other. Each member is extremely gifted in his own right, and the band has invested heavily in the highest quality instruments and sound equipment. Having The Choons at your event is the closest thing you'll get to having any classic band such as The Beatles or Stone Roses play a personal live performance just for you.
What Sort of Music Do We Play?
Our extensive and varied setlist caters for all ages and musical tastes including classic songs by The Beatles The Rolling Stones Stevie Wonder, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon plus many, many more! You can also choose from a selection of popular first dance songs and be absolutely sure that guests of all ages - from grunge kids to granny - will be up dancing and singing all night!
Please Note: Due to their popularity, The Choons are busy throughout the year, and therefore cannot always fulfil requests for learning specific songs. Please refer to their extensive setlist.
What will the band look like?
The band can tailor their look to suit your needs on the night. For black tie events, we can dress formally in black clothes, and for private parties and less formal events we can dress more casually if you prefer. Essentially the keyword here is flexibility! Just specify what your requirements are and we'll have a rummage through our wardrobes!
The band has a two or four-piece line up, and need only a stage space of 5 x 4 metres.
Our show can be formatted in several ways:
You can choose from 2 x 45 minute sets, 2 x 60 minute sets or 3 x 40 minute sets.
In addition, the band can also provide a set of acoustic songs, specifically tailored for drinks receptions or during dinner. The Choons are the only band you need for an all-day event, able to provide music for every scenario, be it a low key acoustic set, or a full on rock'n'roll spectacular!
We are incredibly flexible with all aspects of their show. No gig is too big or too far away. They are very adaptable to a range of room types and always adjust volume levels to suit your requirements.
Our set is lively, exciting, dynamic and full of enthusiasm, and is regularly updated to include current songs. In particular, the band have spent a great deal of time and effort tailoring shows to suit weddings and private parties.

Will definitely be recommending The Choons to our clients as they were extremely organised and helpful in the preparation and set up for the evening.The happy couple wanted a band to play predominantly 70's through to 90's music and get their party dancing all evening. The Choons obviously must have an incredible back catalogue of songs , as despite the wedding party being quite a small group, they achieved a crammed dance floor and the client was delighted.
